ABOUT YOUR ORDER
HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU ANSWER MY QUESTION?
We answer messages and emails in the order they are received and we try to respond as promptly as possible. We mostly reply within 24 hours of receiving a message or email.
CAN I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS AFTER MY ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED?
Once an order is placed, our warehouse staff can pack and ship your order within 24 hours, so it's not always possible to process address change requests. If you notice an error, please email us ASAP with your name and order # so we can try to make a correction(s) to your package before it departs. There's no guarantee we can make it, especially once it leaves our warehouse, but we'll do everything we can!
HOW LONG IS THE PROCESSING PERIOD?
Order processing times are between 1~3 business days after the day you placed your order. Most packages are prepared within 24 hours, but if our warehouse is exceptionally backed up processing times may go up to 3 business days following the day you placed your order.
GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Our warehouse processes and ships out all orders Mondays - Fridays (excluding major holidays). After placing your order, your package should be shipped out within 1~2 business days after your order is placed, and you will receive an email with the tracking number soon after. E-Packet is our primary carrier for U.S customers and for customers in countries/regions such as Canada, Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand etc. Depending on where you live, packages are delivered within 5~25 days from the date of shipment.
WILL MY ORDER COME IN ONE PACKAGE?
Depending on the size of your order you may receive separate packages that may possibly arrive 1~2 business days apart.
OUT OF STOCK/BACKORDERED ITEMS:
In the event that any of your items are out of stock, we will send you an email to let you know when we expect to have the items shipped out by. If the items are not expected to be restocked within 2 weeks, we will just automatically refund you for those items.
ADDRESS CHANGES:
Our warehouse staff are super quick, so if you notice an error please email us ASAP with your name and order number so we can try to catch your package before it departs. There's no guarantee we can change it, especially once it leaves our warehouse, but we'll do everything we can!
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We currently only ship to the United States.
I RECEIVED A DAMAGED ITEM, WHAT DO I DO?
We apologize that your shipment didn't arrive in perfect condition! Please contact us with your name and order number for further assistance.
WHAT DO I DO IF SOMETHING IS MISSING IN MY ORDER OR IS DAMAGED?
If any of your purchased items are missing or are damaged please contact us immediately to resolve the issue. We have a Money Back Guarantee which lasts 30 days prior to the delivery of your order so make sure to contact us within that time frame. ABOUT CHUBBEE KITCHEN
WHO IS LAURA CORTES?
Laura is the face behind Chubbee Kitchen. She discovered her love for baking through her mother who was a cake decorator. She spent her childhood traveling and lived in different countries before settling in Austin, TX. Laura began baking more seriously in 2015 focusing on learning by testing recipes.She is an obsessive home baker who improved her baking skills by testing and reviewing recipes from more than 30 books. Her goal is to become a 'professional home baker'.
WHAT IS THE ONE BOOK/TWO MONTH PROJECT?
In 2019 she launched "One Book/Two Months". An ongoing project where she selects one baking book and bakes, reviews and photographs her way through it as much as her time allows in two months. Nowadays Laura manages her online shop and continues baking her way through books although without the strict two-month timeline. Baking is a huge part of her life and it fuels her creativity and inspires the designs for her products.
WAS LAURA REALLY PART OF THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW?
In 2024, Laura was honored to be selected as an alternate baker for the Great American Baking Show. She underwent the same rigorous preparation as the other contestants, mastering a Signature Bake and a Showstopper for six distinct baking disciplines within tight time constraints. This process demanded exceptional dedication and discipline. Ultimately, Laura achieved one of her lifelong dreams: stepping into the iconic Great British Bake Off tent.
WHY DOESN'T CHUBBEE KITCHEN SHARE RECIPES?
Laura gets requests to share recipes she reviews and from the books she works on, but unless the recipe is published online by its author she doesn't share a link to the recipes anywhere. However, she always references the book or publication where you can find the recipes. She is not a recipe developer and none of the bakes you see on her feed are from her own recipes. She is a home baker who is learning by baking her way through books. Out of respect to the authors and chefs who created these recipes, she doesn't share them because they are not hers to share. She doesn't have the right to share them and or permission from the publishers to reproduce content.
WHAT MAKES YOUR PRODUCTS DIFFERENT?
Laura draws inspiration from her own baking journey to design her products. Her passion for specific ingredients and techniques gives her a deep understanding of what fellow bakers look for in items that truly reflect their craft. She also has a love for shopping and stays up to date with trends in the baking world. By remaining actively involved in the community, she continues to spark new ideas and create products she would genuinely want to buy herself.
