A Gift Guide for Strawberry Lovers
Spring is in full swing and that means it’s strawberry season!! I love strawberries. I think we take them for granted, just like vanilla, because it has become such a commercialized ingredient, it is now boring. Almost everything comes in strawberry flavor, and I find that the majority of things don’t do it justice.
I grew up eating my mom’s homemade strawberry ice cream so my standards for anything with strawberries are very high. I also grew up loving the Strawberry Shortcake dolls and over the years strawberry shortcake has become my favorite dessert. I also have a strawberry tattoo so I think that seals the deal!
Of course, I love strawberry merchandise too. So for the strawberry lover in your life, here are some strawberry things I have seen around lately that I love so I think they would love too.
1. Anthropologie Berry Icon Handpainted Stoneware Pie Dish
This pie dish is so cute, I would buy it to serve only strawberry flavored pies and desserts, since I love strawberries so much, I know I will give it a lot of uses. Of course you can use it for anything, but having the dish match the food serving it is such a fun idea.
2. Urban Outfitters Teddy Bear Ceramic Utensil Holder
I have so many utensils that one doesn’t hold all of them. So my solution is a utensil holder for each type of utensil: one for spatulas, one for whisks, etc. and this cute bear holding a strawberry looks perfect for my wooden spoons and utensils.
3. Le Monde Gourmand FRAISE FOUETTÉE EAU DE PARFUM
I love Le Monde Gourmand. If you have never tried their products, they have the most amazing scents all inspired in delicious foods, mostly pastries and fruits. This one is sweet and really smells like strawberries, but there’s something special about the scent that lingers in the air.
